Our story began with a deep respect for quality ingredients and simple, timeless cooking. At Groenk Bistro & Grill, we focus on serious Galician meats, carefully selected Iberian pork, fresh seafood, and real classics — all prepared to perfection in our charcoal grill oven. It’s where fire, flavor, and technique come together, without unnecessary fuss.
Today, you’ll find Groenk in two iconic locations in Mallorca:
in the artistic village of Deià, and in Fornalutx, often named one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
As Groenk grows in Soller, so does our vision. We are proud to introduce a new chapter: Groenk Pizza & Pasta. A concept built on the same values — quality, simplicity, and soul — offering handcrafted pizzas, fresh pasta, and comforting flavors that celebrate togetherness and everyday joy.

A Culinary Journey
We’re Emese and Balazs, and we’re thrilled to share our story with you. In March 2023, we made a long-held dream a reality by moving from Hungary to this stunning island to live by the Mediterranean Sea. From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found our new home. One of Spain’s most beautiful villages, Fornalutx became the place where we opened Groenk in March 2024, bringing together our passion for food, community, and the art of hospitality.
Now, almost two years later, we are proud to have expanded Groenk to Deià — one of the most exclusive and breathtaking locations in Mallorca — where, for the past few months, we've been upholding the same values that have defined us from the very beginning.
At Groenk, we believe in the beauty of simple things: a smile, a kind word, and true friendships. This philosophy extends to our culinary approach as well—simple, but excellent quality food served in a cozy and friendly environment. We want you to feel like you’ve arrived, like you’re home.
