We’re Emese and Balazs, and we’re thrilled to share our story with you. In March 2023, we made a long-held dream a reality by moving from Hungary to this stunning island to live by the Mediterranean Sea. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found our new home.

 

In March 2024, we opened Grøenk Bistro&Grill in the beautiful village of Fornalutx — and today it remains the heart of everything we do.

In May 2025, we opened another grill restaurant in Deià — one of Mallorca’s most exclusive and breathtaking locations — continuing to uphold the same values that have defined us from the very beginning.

In March 2026, our journey evolved further: we introduced our Grøenk Pizza & Pasta concept in Sóller, and in the same month we launched Grøenk Urban Kitchen in Fornalutx — a fresh, vegetable-focused direction that perfectly complements our original restaurant.

At Grøenk, we believe in the beauty of simple things: a smile, a kind word, and true friendships. This philosophy guides our culinary approach as well — simple, high-quality food served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We want you to feel like you’ve arrived, like you’re home.
